About Cerebras

We make sofas the slow way.

Cerebras is a small design studio building furniture for people who would rather live with one thing for a decade than replace it every other year. Each piece is made to order by a team of fifteen craftspeople, with materials we trust and details we care about.

Made to order

Every sofa is built after it is purchased, in our Milan workshop. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Nothing is wasted.

Solid frames

Kiln-dried hardwood, joined by hand, guaranteed for ten years. The foundation that the rest of the sofa is built on.

Considered materials

Belgian linen, Italian wool, recycled poly blends. We choose materials that soften with age rather than wear out.
